Today, 24th February 2024 at 12.30 pm, Lunar will shine in her peak of fullness for the final time this astrological year. She chooses to highlight the sign of Virgo, the Earthly Priestess for this lunation.
As we know, full moon's are a time of culmination, celebration and release and perhaps we can use this final full Lunar light of this astrological year to reflect and learn to let go in a way that supports detoxification and cleansing of the mind, body and soul.
Ruled by the planetary goddess Mercury, Virgo is a practical thinking, perfectionist, and devotee with a head for routine and detail. She can be a great support in problem solving by breaking down tasks and creating a well thought out plan. But be careful not to get completely caught up in the detail, as this can lead to overwhelm.
The main aspect for this lunation is Sol conjunct, Mercury and Saturn in the sign of Pisces opposing Lunar. The guidance for this aspect suggests that you are learning the lessons and receiving the information that can support you to devote yourself to the higher purpose of health and wellbeing. All you need to do is be open to the change that is needed.
Chiron conjunct the collective North Node in Aries reminds us that we have the ability to heal ourselves.
As a sign that is ruled by the earth element, we are called to connect with and tend the land on which we live. By forming a relationship with the body of Gaia, we can understand how she allows the network of creatures, mycelium and natural bio to work together to support her regeneration. She shows us that it is vital to consider the cooperation of many facets to promote good health.
